"Las Piedras" named for the large rock formations, is one of the
favorite bathing and swimming spots in Minca. It is located
where the warm waters of the Harimaka River meet the colder Minca
River. Here you can enjoy many "whirlpools" where you can sit
and relax and let the water massage your back. At the bottom of
Las Piedras is a large enough pool to swim against the current.
To get to Las Piedras, go past the church and follow the signs to
the Buruake and Dona Ana Restaurants.
Keep going on that road and about 500m after Dona Ana you will see
where the two rivers meet. That's where "Las Piedras" starts.
